View Full Version : Ryobi hand planer belt
I have this 20yr old hand planer with a defunct belt. No longer available here. Would come in handy machining my keelson. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid188/p3afcee20a5baf8eeb8ec288671080de0/f2140882.jpg.thumb.jpg
Does anyone know of a source in the US?
Ryobi 150mm model L520
Are there any markings on the belt? McMaster-Carr in Chicago is a good place to start.

The belt is long gone, unfortunately.I haven't used the planer in ten years. I think I have found a source in Singapore. If they don't reply
will try mcmaster.com.
Thanks for the tip.

Try the likes of John Brooks or Saeco Bearings (both have branches all over NZ) or any other industrial transmission type place - lots of them have small timing belts in all sizes, and probably way cheaper than Mr Ryobi.
